Joint Council Position Openings!
Joint Council is pleased to announce three exciting position openings for the 2012 year! This is a great opportunity for individuals, college students, or graduate students to gain hands on experience in the field of children’s welfare. In the past, our interns have been young professionals and students interested in such areas as: social work, international relations, law, government relations, and even exchange students. 2012 Partnership Intern/Volunteer
The Partnership Intern/Volunteer will assist with routine partnership support activities and provide logistical support for the country and topic specific caucuses. Volunteer/Intern will gain an understanding of nonprofit governance, NGO accountability, and program effectiveness. Volunteer/Intern will also assist with planning two large-scale events – the Annual Partnership Drive and Annual Child Welfare Symposium.
2012 Web Design & Analytics Intern/Volunteer
This position is ideal for those wanting to gaining practical experience working at a coalition-based nonprofit organization and the role of social media at mid-sized nonprofits. This position is ideal for interns/volunteers interested in expanding their web design/development skills.
2012 Event Planning Intern
The Event Planning Intern will be responsible for assisting in implementing and participating in Joint Council’s 37th Annual Child Welfare Symposium to occur in April 2013 in New York. Intern will also be responsible for assisting in implementing and participating in Joint Council’s fundraising and outreach events.
