Webinar Description: Join Buckner for a Webinar roundtable discussion about attachment featuring: Amy Curtis, LPC, Director of Post Adoption and Counseling with Buckner; Jim Harlow, LPC, Private Practice focused on the needs of adoptive families; and Melanie Chung-Sherman, LCSW-S, CTS, LCPAA, Clinical Director of Post Adoption Services at Christian Works for Children. Adoptive families, foster families, and adoptees hear so much about attachment, but what does ‘attachment’ really mean and how significant is it to how your family functions? This will be an interesting and informative roundtable discussion you do not want to miss. Amy, Jim and Melanie have all been through the intensive Adult Attachment Interview training and have worked with families for many years; some who are thriving and some who are struggling. Jim is an adoptive father of five. Melanie and Amy are adoptees. Adoption has been a significant part of each of their lives, personally and professionally.
